Tanzanite Executive Suites - Dar es Salaam

The views from the 10th floor were fine, and the room was super clean. I loved having a kitchenette to prepare snacks. Plenty of nearby dining options kept things exciting, and exploring the local area felt safe. Can't wait to come back 😄

The kitchen in the two-bedroom apartment offered a microwave, fridge, and kettle. The hotel is conveniently located near a ferry terminal, especially useful for catching rides to Zanzibar.

Rooms had an unsettling initial smell that lingered, which seemed worse than past visits. The air conditioning unit was noisy and malfunctioned during the night, and despite the cleanliness, the bathrooms had clear signs of wear, particularly with water marks in the shower. The absence of a restaurant or bar leaves dining options limited, forcing reliance on nearby eateries. The proximity to a mosque means a 5 AM wake-up call for those unaccustomed to early disturbances.

Fast check-in, huge rooms with kitchen. Very central location, pleasant and very welcoming staff right from the doorman to the staff at the the restaurant. Amazing restaurant which would have been nice especially for breakfast.

Ideal accommodation, the breakfast was varied, excellent location in the central business district of dar es salam. I got an a decent size room with WiFi, coffee and air conditioning. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, view of downtown was lovely.

Expensive for Tanzania

Everything was modern, very professional stuff, incredible views of the Ocean. I enjoyed that it was set close to a ferry port.

A more extensive range of facilities would enhance the experience!!! The lack of an in-house restaurant can lead to inconvenience!!! Improved cleaning in common areas would greatly benefit the hotel's appeal!!!

on the first evening we ordered a taxi at the hotel for the trip to the restaurant. price can only be described as fraud. in front of the hotel is a taxi stand with friendly drivers and fair prices. they give their mobile number and you can be picked up after dinner.

I loved staying at this hotel because it's right next to the Dar es Salaam Rapid Transport bus station and just a short walk to St Joseph's Cathedral. Both made my sightseeing so effortless and enjoyable.

We had an upgrade to a spacious suite with two bedrooms, everything was clean and perfect for one night. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the harbour. Perfect accommodation after a late arrival in Dar es Salaam to continue the next day to Zanzibar. Very friendly staff.
